I’m reading the memoir “My Own Two Feet” by Beverly Cleary, one of my favorite authors when I was young. She wrote it in 1995, about growing into young adulthood in the 1930’s. I’m enjoying the backdrop of college during the Depression.

I have so many TBRs. I need to finish A Million Ways to Die in the West by Seth MacFarlane. I took a short break when I discovered Big Library Read. After that, I’ll read 1922 by Stephen King because it’s my next Libby delivery.

My next read is Under the Whipering Door by TJ Klune. I read The House in the Cerulean Sea a few weeks ago and loved it, so I decided to download another one of his novels.
Oh it’s so good! I liked it, but not quite as much as House by the Cerulean Sea. Can’t wait to read more of TJ Klune.

I’m actually listening to the audio book now! So far it’s a good listen. The author has been through a lot, interesting to hear her perspective growing up as a child actress.
I’m generally not a fan of memoirs, but this one was absolutely captivating to me. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did!

I enjoyed Whispering Door. It would be fun if a place like that really exists!

Oooh! I loved that one. I didn’t watch her shows, but she is able to reach audiences who aren’t familiar with her work.
